THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
The thermal-volcanic complex of COPAHUE – CAVIAHUE is located near the Neuquén Province western border (Argentina), in the heart of the Patagonian Andes. This remote region, practically uninhabited, is considered one of the planet’s ecological reserves. Pollution free, with a diaphanous, clear atmosphere, only affected by the fumaroles of volcanic activity, the winds and the majesty of the flying condors.

A peculiar mix of lunar landscape (close to the Copahue volcano) and forests of centennial ñires and pehuenes spattered with mutisias and other autochthonous wild flowers, crossed by brooks and rivers of limpid waters. These forests get thicker as they descend towards the Caviahue lagoons, just eighteen kilometres away from the volcano.
This entire region presents a varied and complex thermal activity, among the top three in the world.

One of the meanings assigned to the word Copahue is "ritual associated to healing ". It makes a lot of sense. Since time immemorial the ancient inhabitants of Neuquén used to gather in this place to benefit from the healthy properties of its different springs and volcanic mud which showed formidable beneficial traits for the skin.

On their way to the volcano, those people used to camp by the Caviahue lagoon shores, among the pehuenes (some of them millenarian) edging it. There they celebrated ancestral rituals, feeding themselves with the threes kernels and drinking a beverage distilled from their fermentation. The name Caviahue derives from these rituals meaning "place of gathering and party ".  Nowadays Caviahue is an ongoing feast due to the beauty and health yielded by the SPA located there upon its privileged guests.

WHO SHOULD USE CAVIAHUE?
Everyone whose skin is affected by time, lacking face skin vitality, tone and softness or subject to the noxious action of modern urban pollution.

HOW IT SHOULD BE APPLIED?
CAVIAHUE should be used at least once a week. Allow you a time for self-indulgement, without hurries or time pressure. Early morning, when tiredness signs are not present, happens to be a good time, especially immediately after shower. Apply Caviahue as a ritual, building up your private climate: just imagine that the Andean SPA has moved to your own home.

It is very important that your skin is completely clean, without traces of any other product.

APPLYING TECHNIQUE
Take generous portions of CAVIAHUE and uniformly spread them on the face and front neck, leaving uncovered only the lips and the eyes’ contour. Do not worry if the mud gets in contact with hair; no danger would stem from it. Carry out this task helping yourself with a non-metallic spatula or, directly, with the tips of your own fingers.

Leave the mud on the skin for about ten to fifteen minutes, until it gets dry.

Immediately afterwards, wipe out the mud with the help of a wet sponge. A final wash with abundant water will leave the skin completely clean.
